Meet The Robinsons

Saturday, January 1, 2011

We met in a mountain town in Utah four years ago, fell in love and locked it down. We currently reside in Chimaltenango, Guatemala - just 30 minutes outside of Antigua. Between November 2012 and May 2013 we are working with Rose Education Foundation (NPO), providing them with videography, photography, web design and marketing production. We find solace in fresh air, simple living and new experiences.
Feel free to join us!

Meg is a portrait and lifestyle film photographer founded in the Pacific Northwest. Raised in The City of Trees with her roots in both Idaho and Guatemala, her work is inspired by natural, colorful elements. Meg's photos can be seen on popular wedding blogs including Green Weddings Shoes, Style Me Pretty, The Wedding Chicks and more. Her images have been published in magazines such as UK Wedding Mag, Lemonade and Lenses, Cake and Whisky and local Washington publications. In October 2012, she held her first Photography Workshop in Ibiza, Spain.

Kent has been a student over the last eight years and most recently completing a Master's Degree in Health Policy and Administration from Washington State University in 2012. Soon after his extensive schooling he realized he would rather be outdoors than behind a desk. Since then he has worked as a sheep herder, a marketing coordinator, a videographer for Rose Education Foundation in Guatemala, and as a freelance writer.

Koda is our Guatemalan pup we bought off a farm (pretty much for free) near our house. We took him to the vet to learn that he was six weeks old and that although we took him from his mama too early, it was necessary to keep him alive as he (and all the stray dogs on the granja) were infested with fleas, which most puppies under two months never survive. He's a sweet boy who already knows how to "sit" and loves going on walks several times a day. We love him and can't wait to bring him back to the States with us!
